Concerto Margarida Magalhães Sousa

The Ponta Delgada Regional Conservatory, under the direction of guest conductor Rita Castro Blanco, presents the Margarida Magalhães Sousa Concert, as part of the 2026 Symphonic Orchestra Workshop. In addition to students from the conservatory’s basic and secondary programs, the orchestra includes students from other arts schools in the region and across the country. The programme includes Clara Schumann’s Piano Concerto in A minor, Op. 77 and Jean Sibelius’ Symphony No. 1 in E minor, Op. 39.
