Teatro Micaelense is one of the stages of the 1st. Azorean International Saxophone Festival and hosts a concert of the philharmonic Nossa Senhora das Neves with saxophonists Otis Murphy and João Pedro Silva, as well as a saxophone/clarinet duo with Hélder Alves and Paulo Gaspar. The programme includes works by David Maslanka, Jorge Salgueiro and Scott Mcallister.
