Celebrating the 500th anniversary of the birth of Portuguese poet Luís Vaz de Camões,
the annual Spring Concert of the São José Choir is dedicated to Requiem, Op. 23 “In Memory of Camões”, a piece for orchestra, choir and four soloist singers, by Portuguese composer João Domingos Bomtempo.
