Rui Massena Band, the new project from Portuguese maestro Rui Massena, emerges from an experimental platform beyond the classical universe. The use of cutting-edge electronics helps to create a sound realm in which the piano continues to be the core element. His work has been compared to modern classical references like Philip Glass, Michael Nyman or Wim Mertens.
