The Margarida Magalhães Sousa Contest is a piano competition for young musicians, organized by the Regional Conservatory of Ponta Delgada, that takes place every 2 years and culminates in a laureate’s concert on the anniversary of the birth of the Azorean pianist, from whom the Contest takes its name.
