Ponta Delgada’s Sinfonietta presents a programme centred on The Double Concerto in A minor for violin and cello, by Johannes Brahms. It is also interpreted the Sinfonia Concertante for Violin, Viola and Orchestra, unfinished by Mozart and reconstructed by Philip Wilby. The concert closes with the Symphony No. 2, by L. v. Beethoven.
