On the Azores Military Zone Day, the Azores Military Band will present a special concert, highlighting Onsby Rose's Symphony No. 2 – "The Sacred Mantle", commissioned in 2025 by The President's Own U.S. Marine Band for the 250th anniversary of the U.S. Marine Corps.
To close the festivities, Azorean music will take centre stage, celebrating the union between popular culture and the military institution.
