CONCERTO & BRINDE DE ANO NOVO

The Ponta Delgada Sinfonietta, under the direction of conductor Amâncio Cabral, welcomes the new year with a festive and timeless concert, joined by soprano Helena de Castro.

The concert will feature the premiere of an orchestration by Antero Ávila, based on a waltz by the Furnas composer Benjamim Rodrigues, in addition to the traditional waltzes, polkas, and marches so characteristic of New Year's celebrations worldwide.

During the intermission, the audience is invited to enjoy a toast in the Main Hall.
